Fleary Tenders Resignation

Fleary Tenders Resignation

Randolph Fleary has officially tendered his resignation as Chairman of the Carriacou Carnival Committee.

Fleary told Informer’s Inside Carriacou and Petite Martinique last week that he had already conveyed his decision to the secretary of the committee.

His resignation comes at a crucial time, as it’s the period over the years when the committee is deep into planning for the official opening and fine tuning logistics for the pre-lenten festival.

It now means that the committee would have to hastily arrange the Annual General Meeting to elect a new executive.  The current deputy chairman is, Enoch Bartholomew.

Carnival 2016 would be held on February 8th and 9th.
