Boots are on the ground to determine who is the most likely choice to take over the Carriacou and Petite Martinique reigns of the New National Party (NNP) from the outgoing caretaker of the constituency, Elvin Nimrod.
From last week Saturday, a four-member Regional team have been meeting supporters of the party, polling them on the best person suited to fill the vacancy, which has been created by Nimrod’s decision to lower the curtains on his Political career.
The team of three females and one male is currently vetting the likability of Attorney at Law, Kindra Mathurine Stewart, Senators; Simon Stiell and Norland Cox.
According to two persons who claimed that they were already questioned by the team, the composition of the questionnaire takes many factors into consideration such as; ability to command and build the base of the New National Party, what are their Political features, and if voted in would they be the best for the further development of the sister isles and country in general.
The poll may well have a bearing on the final decision as to whom emerges as the NNP’s Caretaker for this Carriacou and Petite Martinique Constituency.
