“A” Students celebrate at Bishop’s College annual award year end ceremony “A” Students celebrate at Bishop’s College annual award year end ceremony

The top performers from the various forms at Bishop’s College have been rewarded and incentivized for their hard work over the last year. Last week Thursday the “A” students were presented with special awards in recognition of their 2016 to 2017 academic performance. The awards were delivered by, Mrs Rholda McLawerence, Ms Marlane Thomas and Principal of the school, RholdaQuamina.

Ms Quamina congratulated the students for being studious and dedicated to their work.  She also encouraged the awardees to strive towards an even higher grade as they prepare to go into higher forms from the start of the new school year in September.  Ms Quamina who holds a masters degree in education from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus in Barbados and has graded CXC examination papers, reminded the students that education is the key to unlock any door to their future career goals.

The opening prayer and words of encouragement were delivered by Pastor Junior McNeil, who’s both sons at the school were among those who were awarded.
