We want jobs; we want jobs were the cries of protesters marching through the streets of St. George on Friday 19 as they illustrated their concerns on massive placards.

The protest march was organized by popular radio talk show host Kem Jones to complain about what he sees as the dismally poor performance of the Keith Mitchell led administration during their two years in office.

On Wednesday 18th a market vendor visited Informer’s office to alert us about a situation at the recently completed vendor’s market. According to the vendor, the old stalls were demolished and just left haphazardly, creating unsightly and possibly dangerous conditions in the midst of the newly constructed venue.

Mt Parnassus Resident slapped with gun related charges

A man from the village of Mt Parnassus in St Georges was placed on eight thousand dollars bail, by chief Magistrate Tamara Gill on Monday on charges that allegedly connects him to a weekend discovery by police of an unlicensed gun and six rounds of ammunition at his home in Mt Parnassus.
