Grenada is gravely concerned to learn that it has been placed on a blacklist on the basis of submissions made by ten European Union jurisdictions.  This list suggests that the named jurisdictions are not doing sufficient to guard against harmful tax practices.  This list is ill-conceived, ill-informed and lacking in transparency.

Hoping For An End To The SDCSS Repair/Rebuild Saga

The St. David’s Catholic Secondary School (SDCSS) has been promised assistance in addressing its deteriorating physical conditions. Financing for the repairs was expected to come out of a $4.3M charitable package purported to be from an organization within the Vatican. The exact amount was not officially stated but a usually reliable source puts the amount at $300 000.

Dogs blamed for goats killed in St. Mark

A St. Mark’s goat owner has laid the blame squarely on a group of stray dogs for the loss of his goats, which were slaughtered last Saturday and has vowed to seek full compensation or take legal action to recover his loses.
