Unknown intruders strike Minister Yolande Bain Horsford’s office in Grenville

Police in Grenville are conducting an in-depth investigation into a burglary and stealing incident with the hope of finding a clue to the bandits who broke into and stole valuable items from the office of the Member of Parliament for St. Andrew’s South West Hon. Yolande Bain Horsford, coincidentally on the night of the New National Party’s NNP two years in office.

The intruder/s gained entry into the building by damaging a side window said a member of staff and escaped with two cell phones and one camera.

Informer visited the office days after the break-in and we learned that the incident occurred last Thursday night February 19TH the night the MP who is now the Minister of Tourism was interacting with the public on her government’s achievement over the past two years since taking office.

Members of staff arrived the following day February 20th and were greeted with a ransacked office and upon investigation a camera and two cell phones were discovered missing in addition to the damage done to the window where the intruder/s gained entry into the building.

However this is the first time since moving to that location of the building, which once housed doctor Hinds’ office that a robbery has occurred. According to a police report, investigation continues with the hope of apprehending the suspect/s.
