Two St. Andrew’s men charged for possession of twenty pounds of Cannabis

  • Written by  Davis Joseph

Two St. Andrew’s men have been jointly charged with possession of twenty pounds of cannabis.

They were brought before the Grenville Magistrate’s Court; their charges read and granted bail of twenty-five thousand dollars with two sureties.

Dexter Matthew a coconut vendor of Harford Village, and Pilton Ogilvie of Pearls were the accused men.

The court heard that the drug carried a street value of twenty-eight thousand dollars, but prosecution did not object to bail, only requested that conditions be attached.

They were each granted bail of twenty-five thousand dollars with two sureties and are to report to the Grenville police station once a week between 9am and 4pm.

The men were ordered to surrender all travel documents and not to travel out of the state without permission.
