Miss Coast Guard crowned  Miss St Mark Teen 2017

Miss Coast Guard has been crowned Miss St Mark Teen 2017.

According to the judges, a domineering performance saw Josel Pierre winning five of the eight categories contested in last Sunday’s beauty and talent show, which was held at Vic’s Complex in Victoria. 

The form three St Mark’s Secondary School student accumulated a total of 852.5 points on her way to capturing the coveted title. Miss Pierre was awarded Best Talent scoring 119.5 points, Best Costume, with 110 points, Best Swimwear with 106 points and Best Interview segment with 135.5 points.

  Finishing in the second position was Kimisha Cato; Miss Victoria while the third spot was captured by Moeisha John, Miss Villa with 771.5 points. 

 A total of six contestant competed in this year’s beauty show, which was organized by the St Mark Cultural Social Organisation.

 Among the contestants were Miss Duquesne represented by Donnia Noel, Miss Diamond represented by Renel Budd, Miss River Sallee represented by Shemiah Straker, Miss Villa represented by Moeisha John, Miss Coast Guard represented by Josel Pierre and Miss Victoria represented by Kimisha Cato.  

Contestants were judged on; Introduction, Best Talent, Best Swim Wear, Eveningwear, Creative Monday Night Costume, Photogenic and Question and Answer.

Meanwhile Miss Victoria won the best Introduction award with 109 points. The award for the most photogenic contestant went to Donnia Noel who also won the award for Best Monday Night Costume.   

The organisers thank all who have contributed in one way or another to the success of the event.
