GRENADA'S WORLD CUP DREAM SHATTERED

Grenada’s bid to secure a place in the 2018 FIFA Football World Cup in Russia has been shattered with a second consecutive defeat from Haiti on Tuesday.

After losing to Haiti 3 goals to 1 in their opening game at the Grenada National Stadium last Friday, the Spice Boys journeyed to Haiti for their return game on Tuesday where they suffered their second defeat 3 goals to Nil an the hands of Haiti.

With the World Cup dreams now ended organizers are of the view that it is the opportune time to take a clinical look at the strength and weakness of Grenada football and put systems in place that would take local football at a higher level for moving forward.
