Afy Fetcher named in West Indies ODI Team

Afy Fetcher named in West Indies ODI Team

Grenadian female cricket sensation Afy Fletcher has been included on the West Indies team now playing Pakistan in a four match one day home series, which got on the way on Tuesday at the Beasejour Playing Field in St Lucia.  

 Fletcher, who last represented the West Indies during the Caribbean Ladies tour to Sir Lanka in May of this year, was named by the Selection Panel of the West Indies Cricket Board as a member of that team during a major announcement in Antigua on Saturday.

Meanwhile president and members of the Grenada Cricket Association took the opportunity congratulate Fletcher on her selection and now look forward to the announcement of the 20/20 Squad to see if Fletcher would take the field in West Indies Colours when the two teams engage each other in three 20/20 matches at the Grenada National Stadium October 29th 31st and November 1.
