BOXING MANIA 3 at Youth Development Center this Saturday night”

Fists will fly at the Youth Development Center, Grand Anse this Saturday, (27th May) as The Boxing Association of Grenada stages a major boxing competition dubbed “Boxing Mania 3”, starting at 6:30 pm.

The recently crowned six Grenadian OECS and Caribbean gold medal boxer will go toe to toe in fierce action against six powerful regional boxers coming all the way from the Bahamas.

 

Both Grenada and the Bahamas are preparing their respective teams, for the upcoming Commonwealth Youth Boxing Tournament, scheduled to take place in the Bahamas in July of this year.

Boxing fans can also look forward to seeing many local exciting female and male fights on the night, featuring boxers from both the mainland Grenada and sister isle Carriacou.

According to BAG, in an effort to attract the usual very large crowd at the YDC, adults will only pay $15.00, youth $10.00 and children under 12 years, the future of boxing, will enter the arena for free.

The Boxing Association of Grenada is asking boxing lovers to be on time, 6:30 pm, for a prompt start, as the YDC venue will be transformed into a make shift Caesar’s Palace.

Boxers Rufus Vesprey, Joshua Redhead, Nelon Cyrus, Dariel Sylvester, Shevon Lewis, Timon Gilbert, Jerome Joseph, Javis Regis and Andy Andall are expected to lead the charge from the front for Grenada.
