My own take of the China experience

One of my colleagues described the recent visit by a team of Journalists from Grenada to the People’s Republic of China as fabulous. 

Being a part of the mission, while I endorse fully his sentiments, I also wish to add, that it was a breathtaking experience, one that would remain with me for the rest of my life and therefore on my own behalf and that of the other members of the team, I wish to thank the Media Workers of Grenada and the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Grenada for making it happen.

Born On Christmas Day??

The name “Jesus” means Saviour and the title “Christ” means Anointed. Notice the use of the words ‘name’ and ‘title’ because Jesus is His name and Christ is a title. Jesus was sent by the Father as Saviour of the world, and was anointed “The Christ” to fulfill that mission. While many believe that there is a Jesus who is the Christ, many challenge the date of His birth arguing that He was not born on 25th December.

St. Patrick’s Rapist remains behind bars

A St Patrick’s man convicted of rape in 2011 will remain in prison for the duration of his twelve year sentence as the Court of Appeal of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court presently sitting in Grenada dismissed an appeal against his sentence during Tuesday’s sitting.
